Print your own passport size photos

The studio charges ₹60–100 for 8 photos. One A4 colour print at the photocopy shop gives you 30 photos for ₹10. Cut along the printed lines.

1.Choose your photo

Use the original camera photo. WhatsApp-forwarded images are compressed and print blurry, so ask for the file “as document” instead.

2.Position your face

Drag the photo with your finger. Use the slider below to zoom. Match these three guides and your photo will come out straight and centred:

  • Oval: your whole face fits inside the bright oval. Zoom in or out until it does.
  • Up-down line: keep your nose on this line. Equal face on both sides means the photo is not tilted.
  • Left-right line: keep both eyes on this line. That puts your face at the correct height.

3.Pick size and paper

4.Print it

At the shop, say: “print at 100% size, no fit-to-page, no scaling.” This instruction is also printed on the sheet’s margin. After printing, measure one photo: 35 mm is about the width of a matchbox. If it’s smaller, the shop’s printer scaled it.

☕ This sheet saved you around ₹70. Buy me a coffee if you’d like to keep it free.
